Information about privacy in the LinePick app

1. Controller

The controller for personal data processed in connection with LinePick is:

Torsten Scharrer
Wendelsteinstraße 5
83620 Feldkirchen-Westerham
Germany
Email: support@linepick.app

2. Principle

LinePick is designed so that contacts, phone numbers, call information, line assignments, and app settings are processed directly on your device. The developer does not receive access to this content.

3. Contacts

LinePick requires your explicit permission to display and search contacts, use them as favorites, and assign a preferred cellular line. Permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. Contacts are not uploaded to own servers or shared with the developer.

4. Calling and call history

LinePick uses Apple system frameworks to start calls using a selected cellular line and, where iOS permits, to display call history. For a call started with LinePick, the number, time, and selected line identifier may be stored locally to associate the line with history entries.

iOS does not tell third-party apps which SIM received an incoming cellular call.

5. Cellular lines

iOS may provide LinePick with a technical identifier and system label for active lines. Apple does not reliably provide apps with the SIM's own number. Names, colors, symbols, and preferred lines that you configure are stored locally.

6. CarPlay

LinePick makes selected contacts, favorites, recent calls, Siri requests, and line selection available through Apple's CarPlay interface. LinePick operates no own servers for CarPlay and does not transmit contact or call data to the developer.

7. Locally stored settings

LinePick may store the following only on your device:

  • names, colors, and symbols for cellular lines,
  • preferred lines for contacts and contact lists,
  • favorites with contact identifiers and phone numbers,
  • records of calls started through LinePick,
  • visible app sections and language selection, and
  • custom contact list labels.

Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from the device.

8. No collection by the developer

  • No user accounts
  • No advertising
  • No analytics or tracking services
  • No personal data sent to own servers
  • No data sharing for advertising

9. Permissions

Permissions are used only for the contact, calling, call history, and CarPlay features described here. They can be changed in iOS Settings at any time.

10. Retention

Local settings remain on your device until they are changed, reset, or removed by deleting the app. The developer retains no copies of contacts, phone numbers, call information, or local settings.

11. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability. Since LinePick does not transmit personal usage data to the developer, the developer normally holds no usage data that can be assigned to you.

For privacy questions, contact support@linepick.app.

12. Changes

This policy may be updated as LinePick evolves or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
